I owed you readers this one. Last season, after I did an interview for the Weller magazine, they made posters of the shoot we did and those were shown in a window in the city centre of Heerlen all autumn!
I got students saying ‘hey ma’am, I saw you in a window, are you a model?!’ but of course I could also walk past the window without people even noticing this ‘model’. Besides my pictures, it also had quotes on it saying things like ‘Hanny’s Voorwerp concurs the world’ and some scary numbers revealing its position in the sky, to those who speak this kind of science of course.
I got a call last week, if I was interested in having the posters. So besides two pictures of that window, here’s also me on my table. I can now iron myself without burning, fold up without doing difficult gymnastics or possibly hang myself without suffocating.
Crazy world.
