My abroad friends tell me they’re my fan club, with one of them having plans of printing a t-shirt with my frog on it (I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually goes ahead with this and I catch him front row, waving a banner during my talk or something). Another one makes sure I know in which English magazines my face turns up, as you can see from a page of Astronomy Now below. They also got their tickets ready, which reminds me I should finish polishing my talk. It’s good how Astrofest made me work out all my notes from last year in Seattle and I’m enjoying learning from these preparations. Half of the pre-fun is also looking forward to seeing some of the other talks and Robin (from Canopus books) told me Brian (May) and Patrick (Moore) are going to be there again too, doing a book signing session (just so you know). There’ll be dinners and tweet-ups and of course I can’t wait to hang out with the crazy bunch again! See you over the weekend xx
