This month it’s officially five years since I discovered Hanny’s Voorwerp. Five years! (No, not doing anything to mark the event or to reflect how life has changed – or not). But this means that, since it took a while for the astronomers to realise it was something unique, it has been in the media for four years now. Which is probably why it’s not possible anymore to keep up with where it appears. When I do interviews, I always ask the journalist to send me a link or a magazine and usually they do (although I just remembered a Russian one I should try and find). Anyway, this next one had appeared last Christmas apparently, but it was sent to me recently. It’s the Boulevard Magazine and it’s a rather good article I think; I should definitely give those biology related citizen science projects a try! So here it is. Click on the pictures to read it, or check the whole magazine on their website.

Wow! Five years… Where does the time go eh?
That’s a lovely article in Boulevard Magazine and a very Brian Cox-esque photo too!
Cheers Todd! “Brian Cox-esque” haha, I never thought of it like that, but I see what you mean. I actually found out recently that my mum has the big version of this picture as her screen background!
