Remember it was ‘museum weekend’ last year around this time? It was in fact the same weekend of the ‘100 hours of astronomy’. And I was asked to represent Galaxy Zoo at science center NEMO in Amsterdam. Since it was a huge success, I said ‘yes’ when I was asked to participate again.
You’re welcome to ‘let the stars seduce you’ this weekend, 10 and 11 April, from 10.00am till 17.00pm. It’s free and a lot of fun for all ages! Besides ‘my’ stand, there’s lots of other interesting and cool things to do in the biggest science center of the Netherlands.
My ‘Zoo-friends’ Arie and Jan are going to do the honours on the Saturday and I’ll travel ‘up north’ for the day on Sunday. The earliest train arrives a bit after the opening time, so I’ll probably be around from 11.00am to show how you can be an astronomer too!
See you Sunday!
