“Did you guys have fun?”

Never a doubt about that. We exchanged the picnic sight quicker than usual for our favourite pub The Union, because of the heat. We found a nice shady spot in the garden and shared more drinks and laughter until the Sun made room for the Moon. The guy with whom we had interesting conversations about three-and-a-half-inchers (telescopes!) and ice cream last year, was working there this evening too. And we surprised the other guests with a couple of spontaneous performances.

Annie (who’s a doctor by profession) turned out to be a great palm reader! But if you know her, then to a certain extend this is not very surprising actually. She read our palms and we filmed her during my session, in which she was almost scarily correct about things she didn’t even know about me! She also taught me how to make that pop sound with my pink and cheek that afternoon, and of course we took a lot of pictures again (and then I still owe you, dear readers, a video of us singing). But here’s also all my secrets revealed by Annie, for those interested…

I’m extremely flexible, but I’m also even more stubborn than she is, Annie said while playing with my fingers. I’m a very relaxed person, who’s remarkably sensitive – tuned into people. I’m also intelligent, sensible and I have lots of interests. I could even have an interest in the medical world, or caring for people otherwise. Furthermore, I’m influential, though I’m not practicing it by waving round a banner and I have good career lines, which means I’ll have an influential career. Also, my head rules my heart and I make pragmatic decisions. I do have a long and dedicated love line, so somebody is going to be lucky (her words) and between my head and my heart there’s a definite connection line, so something affiliated with my career is going to be emotionally important to me (!). Besides all of this, I like the domestic side of life more than you’d think and everything else she’d be making up, she concluded. So there.

And I assume these will answer the question in the title:

Silver fox Graham (aka Infie) and Rona (who’s the lucky girl married to Mr. Bananabread).

Julianne and Tom (and Tom’s hair and a couple of beers).

I have so missed this conversation between David and Geoff…

The Golden Vixens Els and Annie (probably singing).

Group picture of Els, Graham, me and Rona, taken by Annie (always standing on a chair), while she said something funny about Tom.

‘Nother group picture, of Tom and his ‘groupies’ this time: Els, Annie, me and Rona.

Tommy making me laugh so much my tummy ached (he says he often forgets I’m sober)…

…and till I cried. Can’t even remember what it was about (the lake you ‘fell’ in?), but this is what my face looked like afterwards.

Great pictures Hanny and memories of a wonderful day. We will call that table in the pub garden the “Zooite Table” in future :)

Thanks Geoff. It is a good spot, with the extra bench on the side. Though I think we’ve “had” all the other tables too in the past, didn’t we?! ;)
