With that title, the Zoo, my Voorwerp and I appeared in the Dutch newspaper ‘De Volkskrant’ of today, Saturday 16 February. The reporter, Tonie Mudde, interviewed me for it last week. It’s a nice article about the success of citizen science in general, in the science section. I’m afraid there isn’t an online version, but here’s a picture of the article.

I bought the Volkskrant too, this day, because Tonie told me his (of her??) article would appear today. A couple of weeks ago Tonie mailed me to ask if I had some examples of citizen science. Of course I referred to the Zooniverse and to you – Hanny – as the discoverer of Hanny’s Voorwerp. Great article of Tonie!
His. Thanks for the mention then! It wouldn’t have been complete without the Zooniverse eh.
Here’s the article’s website:

I am looking forward to seeing the DA14 images. I am new to this site and will continue visiting.
Thanks Volkskrant & Mark, for that link – will tweet it as well. And welcome, Richard!
