It’s February!! The month almost all astronomy minded people that I know are looking forward to, as it’s time for Astrofest. The event where a couple of Galaxy Zoo volunteers met up for the first time six years ago. Speaking of Galaxy Zoo: here’s a video of Zookeeper Rob giving an excellent talk about it. Thanks for the video to The Society for Popular Astronomy and Paul Sutherland.
At the end of the talk, someone in the audience asks Rob if I will be at Astrofest and Paul had already let me know everyone there wants to meet me now. As the lovely Derek said, I have been part of it the past couple of years and to that person asking: yes, I will be there! And I’d love to meet you all!
Dr. B and the one and only Chris Lintott will be present too and I can recommend their amazing books. Just saying. We (I’m bringing the astronomy minded boyfriend this time) will arrive Saturday morning, but to all those attending tomorrow already: have fun!
