After I just wrote about what I had heard of Hubble’s plans, William Keel – zookeeper Bill who is in the USA but is excellent in Dutch too – shared the official schedule with the rest of the world last week, on my friend Arie’s website.
Here’s the image taken from the website of the Space Telescope Science Institute. It says in science language that we’re going to use different instruments between the dates of 22nd February and 17th May next year. However, those dates are not official yet. The target ‘IC 2497’ is the bright big galaxy next to my Voorwerp, which you can see on one of the many pictures on this site. The number after ‘SDSS’ is my Voorwerp’s last name, if you will.
Also, this week, Brady from ‘Sixty Symbols’ wrote to me about a video he was making about Hanny’s Voorwerp. He asked for a picture of me and if I had an idea for a symbol for my Voorwerp. Besides a frog, a drawing of the shape of it came to mind (Chris scribbled it down once, on a postcard Robin and he sent me, just for fun). Anyway, the video appeared on Youtube this morning and here it is too:

Yes thanks. Just press my nose to see the vid!
Hi,
The numbers and codes don’t tell me anything. But it’s a nice movie and picture!
